BorK - I know what you mean about the mayo. I've had good spicy tuna rolls from other places that don't have the spread, and are just fish. I have been looking for a new place to try sushi to get ideas for making it at home. I have a severe fear of mayo as well. I think it comes from working in the food industry for so long. It turns clear after a few hours, ewwww...... I have had a spicy tuna once before and saw it is more of a spread (aka egg / chicken salad) instead of just raw fish.
